Arthur Scanlan in 1940, at the beginning of the Second World War.  She was very active at St. Helena’s, and she often organized parish bus trips to various places.  Her daughter, Marilyn, was the very first baby born in Parkchester, and she attended St. Helena School.  Helen’s husband, Joseph, bought the very first car in Parkchester.  She was a mother, grandmother, and twice a great-grandmother.  Her eldest granddaughter Dorothy Dugandzic spoke at her funeral. Our condolences are extended to the entire Urban Family.
