Parkchester Resident Confronts Intruders, Prevents Possible Theft at 1380 Virginia Avenue
A vigilant resident, Anthony Josey, thwarted a potential package theft at 1380 Virginia Avenue on Saturday after confronting two individuals who had broken into the building’s secure door.
Josey, who lives in the area, recounted the incident, stating, “This was at 1380 Virginia Avenue yesterday Saturday. After they broke into the secure door, they then tried to proceed to go upstairs (most likely to see what packages they can steal from the top down). Luckily, I was there and talked them out of going upstairs.”
In a quick-thinking move, Josey used his glasses to discreetly record the suspects, capturing crucial evidence. “I used my glasses to film these guys,” he revealed.
The incident underscores ongoing concerns about package theft and unauthorized entry into residential buildings. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to authorities.
