Teen slashed in violent subway altercation, suspect flees
A 15-year-old male was brutally attacked while riding a southbound No. 2 train near the Jackson Avenue station in the Melrose neighborhood of the Bronx.

Witnesses describe the assailant as last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and distinctive red and white Nike sneakers.
