Teenager injured in drive-by shooting outside restaurant in Springfield Gardens
On Tuesday, a drive-by shooting outside a restaurant in Springfield Gardens, Queens left an 18-year-old male injured, prompting an ongoing investigation by the police.
The incident occurred around 6:30 PM at the intersection of 144-43 Farmers Blvd. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered the 18-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
According to the police, the young man was walking on the sidewalk when a dark-colored sedan approached and unleashed a barrage of bullets, striking him in the stomach.
The victim was quickly transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he is currently in stable condition, as reported by the authorities.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and police continue their efforts to gather information and unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.
