Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett roasts Marjorie Taylor Greene: “Hard-pressed to find someone dumber”
In a blistering critique, Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett didn’t hold back when comedian Jimmy Kimmel asked if MAGA Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is the “dumbest person in the House of Representatives.”
Crockett responded with a sharp jab, saying she’d be “hard-pressed to find someone dumber.”
The exchange between Crockett and Greene has been simmering since last month when Greene made a racist comment about
Crockett’s eyelashes. Crockett’s witty retort, referring to Greene’s “bleach blonde bad-built butch body,” went viral, adding fuel to their rivalry.
On Kimmel’s show, Crockett recounted the origins of their conflict, noting that Greene’s intelligence—or lack thereof—played a significant role. Crockett described how a delayed hearing led to frustration, particularly when Greene confused topics, discussing Judge Merchan instead of Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Crockett remarked, “It’s just that Marjorie is a little slow.”
Crockett explained the context further: the hearing, initially scheduled for 11 a.m., didn’t start until 8 p.m. because Greene and other Republicans were attending Trump’s hush money trial. “So we had to wait for them to come back,” Crockett said. Frustrated by the mix-up and the late hour, Crockett questioned Greene’s comprehension, highlighting her lack of focus and intelligence.
Kimmel asked about the viral insult, to which Crockett revealed it wasn’t premeditated.
She described observing Greene before delivering her scathing remark, which struck a chord even with some Republican colleagues. “I’ve had some Republican men walk up to me and say, ‘I love your eyelashes,’” she noted, hinting at bipartisan discontent with Greene.
Crockett’s remarks underscored a broader sentiment, suggesting Greene is disliked not only by Democrats but also by some Republicans.
“Her people don’t like her either,” Crockett concluded, solidifying her stance and resonating with a wider audience fed up with Greene’s antics.
