Queens rape suspect nabbed by vigilant community members, confesses to crime
Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, the suspect in a recent rape case in Queens, was apprehended by a group of community members who recognized him from a police-released video.
The suspect, who waived his Miranda rights, admitted to police that he had a drug problem and had never committed a crime like this before.

They noticed him frequenting a deli in Corona over the past two weeks and decided to take matters into their own hands. Late Monday night, around 1 a.m., a group of about half a dozen individuals confronted and detained Inga-Landi until police arrived to take him into custody.
