Queens: Murder-suicide leaves two dead, one wounded

Police in Queens are investigating a tragic incident involving two related shootings, which they are treating as an apparent murder-suicide. The events unfolded late Saturday night, leaving two people dead and one wounded.

The first scene of the horror was a home on 111th Street near 95th Avenue in Richmond Hill, where police responded around 10:30 PM. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 27-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

In the same location, a 52-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound to her torso. She was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition.

Less than a mile away, at the intersection of 109th Avenue and 96th Street, police discovered the body of a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head. A firearm was found next to his body, suggesting a possible suicide following the earlier shootings.

The police have confirmed that all the victims were related, adding another layer of tragedy to the incident. However, the motive behind the violence remains unknown, and detectives are continuing their investigation.
