Patron robbed, injured in nightclub shooting in Park Slope

In the early hours of the morning, chaos erupted inside the High Dive bar located at 243 Fifth Ave. in Park Slope when two unidentified assailants barged in and unleashed gunfire, targeting a 30-year-old man.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was struck in the left leg during the terrifying ordeal.

The motives behind the brazen attack appeared to be twofold, as the perpetrators not only opened fire but also committed robbery.

According to police reports, the assailants seized a substantial $2,400 gold chain and an additional $1,400 in cash from the wounded victim before swiftly fleeing the scene.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded promptly to the scene, whisking the injured individual to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for urgent medical attention. Fortunately, despite sustaining a gunshot wound, the victim was reported to be in stable condition upon arrival at the medical facility.
