Westchester County Executive George Latimer has announce an upcoming Women’s HerStory Month Celebration, titled “I’m Every Woman’s Mind, Body, & Spirit,” in honor of International Women’s Day.

The event, co-sponsored by the Westchester Center for Racial Equity and CEO of YWCA-White Plains, Tiffany S.W. Hamilton, in collaboration with Crystal Collins, Westchester County Director of Faith-based Initiatives & Urban Affairs, aims to create a nurturing space for honoring and celebrating the remarkable contributions of women across various faith sectors and beyond.

The free event is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at The Little Theater at Westchester County Center, located at 198 Central Ave., White Plains, NY 10606.

Renowned Emmy Award-winning television host and executive producer Tamron Hall, a bestselling author, mother, and outspoken advocate for shedding light on domestic abuse, will deliver the keynote address. Hall, known for hosting shows such as “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” on Investigation Discovery, “TODAY,” and “MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall,” brings a wealth of experience and inspiration to the event. Adding to the ambiance, the all-female band SAGE will perform.

County Executive Latimer expressed his gratitude, stating, “We are honored to have Tamron Hall join us for this celebration of women’s achievements and empowerment. Her inspiring journey and commitment to advocacy resonate deeply with the values we uphold in Westchester County.”
