Entitled Episode 3: Ready for the Next Pandemic, the latest episode delves into how New York City’s public hospital system has consistently risen to the challenge of major health crises such as Ebola, COVID-19, and Mpox, while proactively preparing for future pandemics.

Hosted by Dr. Michael Shen, the episode features discussions with Dr. Syra Madad, Senior Director of System-Wide Special Pathogens Program, and Dr. Richard James Salway, Senior Director of Emergency Management, highlighting NYC Health + Hospitals’ strategies for safeguarding the health and safety of New Yorkers.
