Snoop Dogg returns as special correspondent for NBC at Paris Olympics
NBC has revealed that the renowned rapper Snoop Dogg will once again take on the role of a special correspondent, lending his unique commentary to the upcoming Paris Olympics.
Following the success of his stint as a commentator during the Tokyo Games, where his entertaining observations on dressage captivated audiences worldwide, Snoop Dogg is set to bring his distinctive flair to the City of Lights.
Expressing his enthusiasm, the acclaimed artist stated, “I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris. It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness… We’re going to have some amazing competitions, and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. NBC’s vice-president of Olympic production, Molly Solomon, highlighted that Snoop’s viral commentary in Tokyo had earned him the position as a Special Correspondent in Paris.
“We don’t know what the heck is going to happen every day, but we know he will add his unique perspective to our re-imagined Olympic primetime show,” she added.
In a recent video published on Sunday, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper showcased his interviewing skills as he engaged with American athletes such as gymnast Suni Lee and skater Jagger Eaton, injecting his signature humor and style into the conversations.
