In a distressing incident that unfolded on Sunday night, a young woman, Lashawn Andrews, aged 24, met a tragic fate as she was fatally shot in the Bronx, according to authorities from the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

The harrowing incident took place in the vicinity of East 178th Street and Park Avenue, with the clock striking 11:30 p.m. on the evening of August 20.
