MMC partners media networks to profile prominent Muslim New Yorkers
The Muslim Media Cooperation (MMC) has partnered with relevant media networks to profile Muslims in New York City.
This was disclosed by the Publisher of the Muslim Media Cooperation, Sheikh Musa Drammeh, in a statement on Saturday May 7, 2022.
According to Drammeh, not less than thirty-three high-achieving individuals from top ethnic Muslim groups represented in New York are profiled one at a time, starting with the Bangladeshi community.
"Muslim Media Corporation, MMC, in collaboration with relevant ethnic media networks, has commenced its citywide campaign to uncover the fast-growing and ethnically diverse Muslim New Yorkers," the publisher said.
Drammeh noted that MMC collaborates with prominent and relevant ethnic media when profiling each group.
"For profiling the Bangladeshi immigrants, we have partnered with Bangla Patrika and collaborating with Bangladeshi American Community Council in compiling the selection and the final list are jointly published," he explained.
He stated that "the community celebration of the profiled individuals is jointly hosted by MMC and some relevant media partners."
"We are therefore looking for partners and community collaborators within each ethnic group. Please reach out to us at muslimmediacorporation@gmail.com if you are interested in the ‘Uncovering of Muslims’ initiative for your ethnic group. Thank you!" he concluded.
