Saudi education ministry forges 425 community partnerships with SR653 million impact

In a significant move to enhance social responsibility and volunteer initiatives, the Saudi Ministry of Education has announced the formation of over 425 community partnerships, generating an estimated economic impact exceeding SR653 million.
The initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s observance of Saudi Social Responsibility Day, reinforcing the ministry’s dedication to fostering meaningful collaborations that benefit students and society at large.
The ministry said, “Our partnerships are designed to support national development objectives by providing educational resources, professional training, and personal growth opportunities.”
So far in 2024, the ministry has secured 403 partnerships through regional education departments, contributing to national growth. Additionally, 22 strategic partnerships at the national level have been introduced, further cementing the ministry’s role in driving both social and economic progress. These efforts have positively impacted over 576,851 individuals, providing them with educational tools, vocational training, and skill development programs.
Among the key initiatives is a specialized program for inmates, equipping them with education and vocational skills to aid their reintegration into society. Another standout project, “The Young Benefactor” program, encourages students to engage in acts of generosity and community service from an early age.
The ministry also launched the Developmental Education Program, aimed at addressing learning gaps in underserved schools. Furthermore, a dedicated scholarship program has been established to support the children of martyrs, ensuring they receive quality education and essential resources for a brighter future.
Through these transformative initiatives, the Saudi Ministry of Education continues to prioritize social responsibility, innovation, and inclusivity in education, reinforcing its mission to empower future generations and strengthen national progress.
