Nominations open for 2025 National Small Business Week Awards

Isabel Casillas Guzman, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), has announced the opening of nominations for the 2025 National Small Business Week (NSBW) Awards. Celebrating over 60 years of supporting small businesses, the SBA recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions of entrepreneurs who drive the American economy.

“From corner shops to innovation hubs, American entrepreneurs create jobs, invent and provide crucial products and services to their communities, and help define the neighborhoods they serve,” said Administrator Guzman. “The SBA is proud to celebrate National Small Business Week each year to lift up the best of that American entrepreneurial spirit and recognize the many essential contributions all of our small businesses make to our nation.”

Marlene Cintron, SBA Region II Administrator, encouraged local entrepreneurs to participate, emphasizing the opportunity to showcase their dedication. Nominations are open until December 5, 2024, and can be submitted electronically.

The SBA will present several awards, including the prestigious Small Business Person of the Year, with winners selected from each state and U.S. territories. Other categories include Small Business Exporter of the Year, Phoenix Awards for Disaster Recovery, and various awards for SBA resource partners.
