Queens: Decomposing body found near Rego Park apartment
Regulations are being set up in the backdrop of Queens. An unidentified person’s decomposing body was discovered by city police on Sunday afternoon around 12:55 p.m. near the 92-40 Queens Boulevard at Rego Park.
Residents had noticed an unbearable stench in the area, which eventually led to the discovery.
The body was in such a state of decomposition that neither the sex nor the identity of the individual could be ascertained. The police could not confirm if foul play was involved in the death. However, an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and circumstances of death.
