A wave of concern has followed reports that American rapper Offset was shot in an incident outside a major casino in Florida, with a viral video now revealing the chaotic aftermath at the scene.

The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus and who rose to fame as a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, was reportedly shot on Monday evening, April 6, near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, just outside Miami.

According to a spokesperson for the 34-year-old artist, he sustained gunshot injuries but is currently in stable condition and receiving treatment at a hospital. “He is stable and being closely monitored,” the spokesperson confirmed.

Video footage circulating online shows a heavy police presence at the scene, with officers swiftly securing the area and detaining two individuals in connection with the incident. The visuals have fueled widespread reactions across social media, as fans and observers await further updates.

In an official statement, the Seminole Police Department confirmed that authorities responded to an incident at a valet area shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday. The situation, they noted, resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to one individual, who was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

“Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police,” the statement read.

Despite the arrests, authorities have yet to release full details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting, as investigations remain ongoing.
