Muslim leaders announce date for ‘Bronx Muslim Festival’
Bronx Muslim leaders have officially announced the annual ‘Bronx Muslim Festival,’ scheduled to take place on the first Sunday of October each year.
According to a statement signed by Sheikh Musa Drammeh, one of the event coordinators, this highly anticipated event will be hosted on Morris Park Avenue, in the heart of Little Yemen, Bronx.
“Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for a day filled with vibrant exhibitions, engaging entertainment, and enriching educational experiences,” the statement reads.
It adds that the Bronx Muslim Festival aims to showcase the rich and diverse tapestry of Muslim traditions, culture, and contemporary practices.
“From artistic expressions to culinary delights and intellectual pursuits, the festival will highlight the immense contributions Muslims have made to global civilization and various fields of human ingenuity. It is a celebration designed to foster understanding, dispel myths, and refute the doctrines of extremism, intolerance, and hatred,” it says.
This joyous occasion invites Muslim entrepreneurs, artists, intellectuals, professionals, diplomats, journalists, political leaders, educators, students, religious leaders, media personalities, and celebrities.
The festival is also open to government agencies, elected officials, businesses, and nonprofits citywide, who will serve as valuable resources for attendees.
