Parkchester leader calls urgent meeting to address surge in violent incidents

Raymond Hamilton, a prominent figure in the Parkchester community, has issued a rallying call to address the alarming increase in violent incidents within the area.

The call for the meeting was ma m throughtheParkchester Watch Group, a local m Facebook maKcommunity dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of Parkchester residents.

In a passionate plea to residents, Hamilton stated, “We need everyone tonight to show up; there have been six incidents involving knives and guns on our property. We all need to come together tonight. Complaining on this thread isn’t what our group is about; it’s about advocating for our living conditions and our community.”

He further urged residents to contact the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to inquire about additional measures being taken to combat this surge in violent crime.

The meeting, scheduled for Thursday, September 7th, at 6:30 pm, will be hosted by the Public Safety & Transportation Committee at the Bronx Community Board 9 Office located at 1967 Turnbull Ave. Suite 201, Bronx, NY 10473.
