Woman kidnapped, driven away in New York
A woman has been kidnapped in Gravesend. The New York Police Department (NYPD) disclosed this in a tweet on Saturday April 22, 2023.
The NYPD reported that a man grabbed a woman at the intersection of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue before 2 a.m. and carried her into a Toyota minivan before driving away.
The police say the unknown victim is likely in her 20s. The suspect is in his 30s and 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds.
“He was last seen wearing all black,” NYPD said.
It, therefore, urged anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers.
“Wanted for a kidnapping at Ave W & Stillwell Ave in #Brooklyn @NYPD60pct on 4/21/23 @1:45 A.M., The female victim was kidnapped by an unknown male in a late model Toyota minivan. Reward up to $3500. Call 1-800-577-TIPS Calls are confidential!” NYPD said.
Gravesend is a neighborhood in the south-central section of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, on the southwestern edge of Long Island in the U.S. state of New York. It is bounded by the Belt Parkway to the south, Bay Parkway to the west, Avenue P to the north, and Ocean Parkway to the east
