The family of a missing Bronxite, Ibrahima Kaba, has announced a $500 reward for anyone who finds their fifty-five-year-old missing person.

According to the family, the missing person, said to be suffering from dementia (memory loss), was last seen on Monday November 21, 2022 at 12pm EST at BronxCare Hospital (formerly Bronx
Lebanon) 199 Mt Eden PkwyThe Bronx. NY 10457.

“If you have information please contact Sire Kaba at (347) 942-3286 or
report to your nearest police department,” the family said.

Reacting, a Bronx resident, Abdoulaye Cisse, complained that “the detective and 41st precinct have not been as helpful as I’d like to see them. I went to the precinct last night at midnight and was told the detective is unavailable. I said ok no problem, can you at least print flyers and posters for us because we don’t have access to a printer this time of the night. They said they couldn’t do that either. I’ve always heard police didn’t care about missing Black people.

“I experienced that last night. No sense of urgency for this missing person who has deteriorating mental health. As always it’s on us to take care of us. Please share. And if you live in NYC (especially Bronx) please print the flyer and post in your neigborhood. Post at gas stations, grocery stores, post offices, banks, drug stores, local libraries, Mosques, churches, hospitals, homeless shelters etc. thank you.”
