The NYPD's 43rd Precinct in the Bronx on Monday afternoon held a toy giveaway strictly for children with autism whom it said have been hit extremely hard during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"In honour of our brother police officer Shane Sullivan-thank you to every officer who brought joy to our babies that really needed the love," read a tweet from the NYPD 43rd precinct's official Twitter account.
The 43rd Precinct whose commanding officer is Deputy Inspector Keiyon S. Ramsey, serves the Southeast section of the Bronx.
There are four primary commercial strips in the precinct: Westchester Avenue, Castle Hill Avenue, White Plains Road, and Parkchester.
