NYS Assemblywoman distributes free food to constituents
Assemblywoman for New York State’s 43rd District Diana Richardson has announced her intention to give out free food to those in need, especially in her constituency.
According to a statement made available to Parkchester Times by the Assemblywoman’s office, the food which is part of the program for the upcoming summer will be given out at various locations.
“If you are in need of food, do not go hungry. Please visit any of the locations we have to get access to free, nutritional, and delicious food. Food distribution sites are open Wednesday through Saturday,” said Assemblywoman Richardson.
Among the sites named by Assemblywoman Richardson where food will be distributed include, the 43rd AD and WCK Farmers market on 330 Empire Boulevard every Wednesdays between 9:30 am and 10:30 am. Crown Heights Jewish Community Council on 899 Montogmery Street will be giving out food every Wednesdays between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm. On Thursdays, Beulah Church of the Nazerene on 1250 St Johns place and Kingdom Life Ministries on 770 Park place will be giving out food between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm respectively. On Fridays, Crown Gardens Housing Corp on 845 Nostrand Avenue, will be giving out food between 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, while Saturdays will see the Lenox Road Baptist Church on 1356 Nostrand Avenue, give out food between 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
“If you or someone you know has mobility issues please reach out to my office directly to coordinate alternative arrangements. Please remember that although the doors to my office are physically closed, we remain open virtually Monday-Friday between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, to assist you.
