NYC PUBLIC ADVOCATE DEBATE
On Friday, February 15 at 6:00pm, BronxNet will televise live, a debate between candidates for New York City Public Advocate, at the Lovinger Theater at Lehman College. BronxNet’s BronxTalk host Gary Axelbank will moderate and Lehman College President José Luis Cruz will present opening remarks. The debate will be open to members of the public who want to attend and be part of the theater/studio audience. BronxNet is producing the debate in partnership with the League of Women Voters of New York.
In addition to the live broadcast, the program will be rebroadcast Sunday 2/17 at 11:00am, Monday 2/18 at 9:00pm, Wednesday 2/20 at 9:00am, Friday 2/22 at 9:00pm and Sunday 2/24 at 11:00am on Channel 33-Fios and 67-Optimum, with simultaneous webcasts at www.bronxnet.org.

Candidates confirmed to participate (as of 2/14 at 12:00 noon) are Michael Blake, Dawn Smalls, Anthony Herbert, Jared Rich, Ron Kim, Ydanis Rodriguez, David Eisenbach, Rafael Espinal, Nomiki Konst and Ben Yee.
