Building Bridges Between Generations

It's so exciting to see our New York City Council Cultural After School Adventures (CASA) dollars at work. Through funding we allocated, the students of Emma Lazarus High School joined Horticultural Society on a visit to the society's greenhouse at Riverbank State Park for a morning filled with food, fun, and community service.
Working together, these students made 100 packets of bean soup ingredients for local seniors. Thanks for making change in your community!
