American-African leader Musa Drammeh, co-founder of New Yorkers for Due Process and New York Peacebuilding Commission, has condemned the call for the resignation of Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams.

Drammeh emphasized the importance of upholding the oldest and most copied living constitution in the world, which includes vital clauses designed to protect the accused during criminal proceedings.

He stated, “And the presumption of innocence until proven guilty is one of those clauses.”

Drammeh expressed deep concern over the recent trend of political opportunists demanding the resignations of duly elected officials based solely on accusations, without any convictions. He criticized those pursuing such agendas, specifically targeting the “political opportunists running for mayor along with their firebrand far left socialist anti Americans who are calling for the mayor to resign prior to even knowing what he was accused of.”

He labeled their actions as “disgraceful, dishonest, corrupt and woefully unsuitable for public office.”

In a clear show of defiance, he highlighted Mayor Adams’ unwavering stance against these pressures, noting that, “Mayor Adams will never, ever consider resigning as he forcefully articulated his commitment to not be distracted by these dishonest politicians who want to take his position and the incumbent socialists who hate the United States.”

Drammeh also announced the formation of a grassroots movement, stating that “New Yorkers For Due Process” are dedicated to organizing a series of press conference rallies to protest the illegal forced resignation of the mayor, stressing the need for due process in all political matters.
