Leconte, a Haitian immigrant, has served the Health System since 1999 and has been credited with helping NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem navigate the coronavirus pandemic.

As Contreras notes, “I am proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to serving the most vulnerable populations in New York City.” Hicks adds, “Our goal is to provide the best possible care to all New Yorkers, regardless of their ability to pay.”

Leconte emphasizes, “I am committed to ensuring that our hospital continues to provide high-quality care to our community.”
