38-Year-Old Man Found Fatally Shot Inside Car in West Farms

On 1/7/2019 at East 178th St. between Bryant Ave. & Boston Road a man was discovered in his GMC outside of Murphy Consolidation with one bullet wound in his head. The driver's side of his vehicle had been blown to pieces.
The man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Detectives shut down East 178th Street at Bryant Avenue for investigation. No arrests have yet been made. Police say it was unclear whether the victim was the intended target.
