RIBBON CUTTING FOR NEW BATHROOMS AT PS 199
TODAY, December 17th, Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer joined Principal Anthony Inzerillo and students at PS 199 in Sunnyside, NY to cut the ribbon for newly renovated bathrooms at the elementary school. The $150,000 bathroom renovations were funded through Council Member Van Bramer's participatory budgeting program in 2017.
“I am proud that the funding for these much-needed renovations was allocated through my participatory budgeting program. Last year, this project received the second highest number of votes from residents of my district and I am so pleased to see it come to fruition,” said Council Member Van Bramer. “The bright and talented young students of PS 199 deserve modernized facilities and I look forward to working with Principal Inzerillo and school administration to continue making PS 199 the best school it can be.”
“On behalf of P.S. 199Q’s school community I would like to thank Councilman Van Bramer for funding this project. This will allow our students to enjoy the beautiful new restrooms for many years. We hope that Councilman Van Bramer enjoys the thank you notes and cards from students,” said Principal Anthony M. Inzerillo.
Council Member Van Bramer allocated $450,000 for bathroom repairs, upgrades and efficiency enhancements in his participatory budget for 2016-2017. The funding was split among PS 199 (Sunnyside), PS 112 (LIC), and PS 12 (Woodside). COUNCIL MEMBER VAN BRAMER HOLDS RIBBON CUTTING FOR NEW BATHROOMS AT PS 199
