Veteran’s Day at St. Helena Church
St. Helena Church, Bronx had the Blessing of Veterans and the Blessing of Veterans Photos at all Masses on Sunday, November 11, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the cessation of firing during World War I – the 11th hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918. The church rang the church bells at 11AM to commemorate the event.
