Muslim World League Condemns Iranian Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Affirms Full Solidarity

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned recent Iranian attacks targeting the Riyadh Region and the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as “treacherous” and in violation of both religious and international norms.
In a statement released by the MWL’s General Secretariat, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced the assaults, calling them a “blatant Iranian aggression” that breaches fundamental humanitarian and religious values.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has consistently maintained a clear and resolute stance regarding attacks on Iran and has made sincere and diligent efforts to spare the Iranian people and the region from their dangers,” Sheikh Al-Issa said. “This aggression is not only unlawful but contradicts the principles of peace and coexistence upheld by Islam.”
He emphasized that the MWL, through its councils, bodies, and global assemblies, stands firmly with Saudi Arabia. “On behalf of the Muslim World League, I reaffirm full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it undertakes to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its people,” Sheikh Al-Issa added.
The MWL also offered prayers for the protection of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and citizens. “We pray to Almighty God to protect the Kingdom—its land, leadership, and people—from all harm and adversity,” the statement concluded.
This condemnation highlights growing international concern over escalating tensions in the region and underscores the MWL’s role in promoting peace, security, and unity among Muslim nations.
