Man fatally shot outside Bronx Bodega, police seek public assistance to arrest suspect
In an effort to apprehend the perpetrator behind a deadly shooting in the Bronx, the authorities have released surveillance images and are appealing to the public for help.
The incident occurred on June 10 outside a bodega on University Avenue, according to a report on June 17, 2023.
According to the report, the suspect, captured on video, approached a 42-year-old man and proceeded to shoot him multiple times.
Tragically, the victim succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. The location of the incident was identified as 1538 University Ave. in Morris Heights.
After the shooting, the shooter was observed fleeing southbound on University Avenue.
