“I hope White supremacist that attacked Buffalo grocery store eternally remains behind bars” — Kathy Hochul

New York State Governor, Kathy Hochul, has condemned the supremacist shooting at Buffalo grocery store on Sunday May 15, 2022.

While speaking at the scene of the attack, Governor Kathy Hochul, condemned the perpetrator of the evil act. 

She expressed hope that the perpetrator of the attack will spend the rest of his life behind the bars.

“It is my sincere hope that this individual, this white supremacist who just perpetrated a hate crime on an innocent community, will spend the rest of his days behind bars. And heaven help him in the next world as well,”  Hochul said.

According to a report, not less than ten people were killed and three more wounded when a White man opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York.

The report confirmed that stated that the shooter has been remanded in police custody.

"The shooter has been charged with murder in what officials are calling a hate crime and a case of racially motivated violent extremism," police said.

The police noted that the man's action was "a straight-up racially motivated hate crime from somebody outside of our community."

It was also reported that the gunman, during the attack, appeared in body armor and military-style clothing.

"For at least two minutes, he broadcast the shooting live on the streaming platform Twitch before the service ended his transmission," the report said. "The gunman shot 11 Black and two White vitlctims before surrendering to police."

The suspected gunman was identified as Payton S. Gendron, of Conklin, New York, about 200 miles (320 kilometers) southeast of Buffalo.
