Tuesday, December 11, 2018, Bronx, New York—Today United African Coalition joined Mrs. Hawa Diallo and her family at a tensed Press Conference in front of Mrs. Diallo’s house on Elder Avenue in Bronx, a block away from where Amadou Diallo was shot 41 times by NYPD cops searching for a rapist on the night of February 4, 1999.

The Press Conference was held to solicit public help in locating Mr. Ibrahima Diallo, 28, who has been missing since Friday, December 07, 2018. Around 8:26 PM on Friday, Mr. Diallo phoned his mother to let her know that he was driving back to the Bronx from Atlanta, where he had recently moved to.

Unfortunately he never got to the Bronx and no one has seen or heard from him even since. The call he made to his mother was the last known communication he has had with anyone on his phone. A multi-state police searches and calls to hospitals along the route from Atlanta to New York have produced nothing so far.

At the Press Conference today, Mrs. Hawa Diallo, her family and the African community leaders have appealed to public for help in finding Mr. Ibrahima Diallo as quickly as feasible. The family is justifiably worried for his well-being at this moment. Mrs. Diallo stated that this is the first time her son has gone days without communicating with her.

For further information about this mission person case, please call Ms. Fatima Diallo, the sister,  at 646-626-0080 or Ms. Bukola Shunoga, Communication Director, United African Coalition at 212-470-4138.
